Hello, I have a Hacker HCD1000 which damages thin cassette tapes on play back. I have cleaned the captain shaft & replaced the pinch roller but the issue persists
it’s like the torque problem we used to have on the Amstrad VCR 4600 but I can’t see any way to reduce the take up torque
Has anyone had this issue before on this model ?

Service manual gives guidance on torque adjustment so fingers crossed this will come good once it’s passed through the workshop
