Hi. Recently obtained a Leak  "Delta " turntable made by Rank Organisation. It needs a new cartridge to replace  the "Shure M95EJ" original. Does anyone know if a replacement can be obtained?. Thank you

A quick search on e-bay returns a few, if you'd rather avoid ebay try contacting some of the sites listed in our parts and suppliers section here.

In there you'll find the "Hi-Fi collective" along with "The Voice of Music turntable spares" mentioned. Also worth a look is "The stylus lady" who is found at  https://www.thestyluslady.co.uk/

Actually a badged Lenco L75 . (Goldring Lenco GL75, as more commonly sold in the UK)

Check the arm bearings whilst you're in there. Most have gone soft, and allow play. Desmo make superb replacements.

A fabulous turntable once fettled.

If you want a cheap and cheerful cart, you won't be disappointed with an Audio Technica AT-91. Great value for money.

Those arm bearings didn’t last very long, I was changing them a few years after the decks was put into service. Still a 5 min job to change and I didn’t know but were still available.

As mentioned, the Leak is a Goldring Lenco. An interesting site dedicated to such may be seen here.....

Sadly, I have discovered that the gentleman that manufactured the Demso V block has passed on.
