Probably well known to several stalwarts here but I just followed the links to the planning applications for the first time and found them very interesting and encouraging.

I would like to have seen the studios and control rooms as frozen in time in late 1936 but as you say, there is little remaining of this scene.
The proposal HGY20143122 Alexandra Palace DAS part 2 of 8.pdf sounds like the usual type of museum space that is apparently required today to get sufficient public interest but at least the area is still being devoted to British television heritage.
