And Yet Another Ekco TMB272

Hi all, A couple of years ago I restored an Ekco TMB272which has turned out to be a good reliable little telly then by chance a while ago I found another one of these little monsters at a farm in North Yorkshire and for a fiver I thought it would make a good source of spares, it even has it's original McMurdo mains lead with it ! It's now been sat on a shelf in my workshop for 18 months drying out from it's spell in a barn, it looks fair on the outside but not so good on the in. Rust has formed round the base of the chassis and 'Daz' has appeared on the alloy bits also most of the waxys have decade or split wide open plus there are tons of 'orible 'unts to deal with, a couple of valves are missing but the CRT tests to be a corker so I think it's worth a shot at getting it going. Hi all,

I managed to free of the focus slider and set up the geometry which has resulted in a good clear 'crisp' picture, in fact I have to admit I'm very impressed with this 'old thing from the swamp'. Who would have thought it would end up giving pictures like this after all those years in a damp barn. The photo doesn't do it justice really.

Also thanks to everyone who helped me along with this project both with parts and advice, your all stars !

Yes well done, I only saw a couple of these in the early 60's and they were a really good TV.
