Donations wanted to acquire RACS equipment
We have a one time chance to buy the remaining CRT Rebuilding Equipment from RACS and shipping it to the Early Television Museum. So far, donors have contributed about $4,500 toward that goal. Here is information:
http://www.earlytelevision.org/friends.html
This is very important as it is possibly our last chance to keep a regunning facility alive and well. I've sent a bit - at least it's easy with Paypal! So if you can, please send something - it's in all our interests - well the TV guys at least!
The only down side to this is that it's even further away than RACS were and not in a duty free area.
But probably the best place to set up the last re-gunning shop.
I hope they succeed.
I get paid on Wednesday, so I'll see what I can spare.
Regards,
Lloyd.
Such a worthwhile cause...and as Brian says, PayPal does make it that bitbeasier!

Just sent mine in, hope it helps!

Lloyd.
Thanks to generous donations from collectors all around the world, including many from this forum, we now have the funds to purchase the RACS equipment and ship it to the Museum.

That's fantastic news, Steve. Good luck with the project - we'll be watching from across the pond!
