Yes, VHF 405 is a very good system giving excellent results.

The Ekco is now fully clothed I'm pleased to say.

Considering what recently happened to the Murphy,  I spy an exposed Baird in the background. I think you're a very brave   ? (you add the word here) man to leave the Baird open and exposed without its back on. The neck end waiting for something to drop on it, or to be knocked,  or your dog to get up to mischief, anything can happen as you found out.  19" colour CRT's rarer than rocking horse poop.

I'll stop being mum now..........

Yes, you are quite right and I'll attend to it now. A rather obvious hazard, one I should have removed sooner.

Tis done, two min's work could save an awful lot of heartache......

...and considering our much-missed friend Mr. Cuff managed to despatch a pre-war tube with a reamer falling off a shelf...

I spy an exposed Baird in the background.

And every time I walked by it, I kept knocking the PCL82 that stuck out. So silly to leave the back off really wasn't it ?
