Attached is a picture of an Emiscope 4/1. What sort of set (or apparatus) was this tube fitted to?

This is just part of a consignment of pre-war and later cathode ray tubes I have been offered. Unless advised otherwise, my intention is to put the vendor directly in touch with the Vintage Wireless Museum at Dulwich.

It looks like it has electrostatic deflection on one axis only!
