Ferguson Model 3547
Hi. Alex, what you have there if it's identical to the 3547 is a TX250 chassis which was not released in the UK. Until your earlier posts I wasn't even aware of it's existence, the nearest we had to it in the UK was the 1540 but I can see a lot of differences. If your fault is in the line output or field osc/output stages then the 1500 diagram may be of some help although the component reference numbers will be different. Lots of close up pictures will of help us to identify them.
Good luck.
John.
Thorn designers have made a good job by giving the set a Scandinavian look to the cabinet presentation. The rosewood effect looks good. It would be interesting to know the maker of the multi-band tuner. Made by Telefunken? It's well known that the Thorn Electrical Industries made for export many variants of other TV receivers. For example there was a 625 only version of the 900 series. The Philco PT5514 for example: https://www.radiomuseum.org/r/philco_pt5514.html
The UKVRRR topic about the set: https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/showthread.php?t=111828
A version of the 1500 chassis was made in Australia. A topic about such sets exists in this forum.
Till Eulenspiegel.
Certainly looks like the same type of tuner.
Till Eulenspiegel.
And of course around that time Thorn imported Korting sets, releasing them via Radio Rentals as the Baird 8750.
John.
Posted by: @malcscottIt is a Korting Transmare.
Yes I know. Alex's set reminds me of one, certainly the tuner anyway.

thursday evening i was down at the Radio club where we have a larger collection, they also have a ferguson in their collection similar to that my friend gave to me, so i opend it up and toke a look and some pictures, it´s same chassis af my previous ferguson, (notice the IC circuit),
Another very good looking set Alex, a long way better than the cabinets on Ferguson UK monochrome models and I like the black rear cover also. If that set had been available here it would probably been given an HMV badge.
John.
It does look similar to the HMV versions of that cabinet styling doesn't it
