I am wondering if someone could identify this television set as its missing its back and I can't find any other tell tale signs

Many Thanks
Luke

Easy one that Luke, its a 1949 PYE BV21C or LV21C ( Birmingham/ London). If you look on the chassis near the base of the CRT bowl you will see either BV21 or LV21. The chassis is a dead give away too, used in many of the table sets.

Foolishly, I walked away from one of those some ten or more years ago - and the shop owner (a) only wanted £50 for it and (b) had refused to sell it to the drinks cupboard and fish tank brigade previously.

Hindsight really *is* the most beautiful sight in the world, isn't it...? :ccb

This set should have excellent audio with its large speaker/baffle board combined with a PL33 sound output stage.

What a fabulous looking set!
I'd love one of those. Good luck with it.

What's more, no nasty slider controls.

Now offered for sale in the "For Sale Section" viewtopic.php?f=9&t=11396
I would love to keep it and get it going but I have so many other projects I feel it needs to go to a new home for restoration

Many Thanks
Luke
