B&W TV I'm back... (in black/white)

Welcome back!

A short story:
I was on my way to the garbage dump with a load of rubbish from my son's newly purchased house, filled with furniture and other belongings from the previous owner.
I saw wooden box in the TV waste department.
Guess what I brought home.
This is a fairly well-designed TV from the factory LARSEN & HOEDHOLDT. A small Danish factory that built quality products, as can be seen from the pictures.
At start-up, the only faults were humming, bad vertical size and unstable horizontal deflection.
A few hours later the result was good.
Cabinets are sanded and polished, and all other parts are cleaned.
Bottom and back plate missing.
Best regards' Elektrofix

I agree that's a lovely looking set and looks well designed.
Interesting to have the speaker facing upwards. Probably sounds better than side facing speakers.

Probably better for penguins that way.

@elektrofix What does the control immediately to the left of the horizontal hold control do?

This is a function switch, combined with tone control.
Tone control is divided into 3 x 3 steps: light, normal, dark. And the three steps appear for each of the three main functions: TV, FM radio (the channel selector must also be in position FM-1 or FM-2, and tuned with the channel selector's fine tuning). Last function is gramophone connection.

Sorry for the years of noisy silence, on my part. But now something is happening again. I have cleaned up the garage and here are some pictures of the next project.
A rare Danish TV from the ELTRA factory, devices are from 1955.
The cabinet is in poor condition

Seems like its repair has already happened.
Great to see a CCIR TV that predates our earliest in Australia by a year.
Strong Philips influence, one of the neatest point to point chassis wiring jobs you will ever see.
Nice!
