As many know I am trying to build a set with a 6" VCR97 screen.

Here's another smaller commercial set from the US dating back to 1948.

The Pilot TV37 was an easily portable set selling for I believe less than $100.

Not bad for a 3" screen!

Hi Ian,
The Pilot TV37 was indeed the $100 TV set. I have one but a lot of work needs doing to it before it ever shows a picture. A CRT for starters. Neat little set though.
