B&W TV Prinz TV 12 12697
Hi all, wonder if there is anyone that can help.
I've got a Prinz TV12 Serial No - 12697 set that powers on but the vertical bias is broken and I just get a thin line in the centre of the screen. I've turned the set straight off as I'm aware that the tube is currently at risk of being damaged.
Can anyone help and/or advise?

If I remember correctly, Prinz was the in-house brand of Dixons (before it merged with Currys) so could have been made by anyone but most likely Japanese in origin. Someone here may have some circuit information. A photo might help with identification but if it was me, I'd start by looking around the field output circuitry (you have what is called a field (or frame)) collapse. I'd be inclined to look over the circuit board for poor solder joints before diving in any deeper at this stage.
