It is an account of CRT work at the Telefunken laboratory following 'interrogation' by the British. I'm still working through it, and there's already an interesting discussion of the rectangular tube used in the German 1939 set(s), where we learn that ion burn was a problem that took 200 to 600 hours to develop.

That is interesting Steve. Although in German This one on the E1 from 1939 has some interesting stuff too.
