Well this was a new chassis on me, not aware of it at all until Jim contacted me. Anyone else ever seen one let alone worked on one.  I'm guessing export set, thus a rare one. Brochure added to the Blogs B&W brochure and Thorn sections.

The service manual for the TX250 is in the data library

p.s. hang on a minute, thinking about it, some bells started clanging in the dusty corners of my mind, found this. However, on Alex's set the user controls are at the top not bottom, curious. Perhaps as his TV is in Denmark, maybe that's what their market wanted.

I've certainly never seen one. VHF/UHF tuner, RCA-style test card ... looks export to me.

I'm pretty certain this was never released in the UK, the nearest we had was the 1540 chassis schools receiver. Alex's thread has two other models, the 24" 3540 and 20" 3547. I really like the styling of the 3540.

I think having BRC International on the cover's a dead giveaway it's an export model.

Fascinating find though - like that small quantity of Bush (Ireland) TV manuals I have. Nice looking set.
