I found some pic's of a couple of sets that I restored a few years back and since regrettably sold because I needed the cash.
One is a Ferguson (forgotten the model) and the other a Sobell TPS173 I think.
They both responded well to the usual re-cap and gave good pictures with minimal work.

Great photos Andrew. We've all got rid of sets at some point. Wish I still had that GEC 2028.....

Thanks Brian, I sold them on ebay and they only sold for little more than I paid, but there we are. :aaf
The Ferguson went to a young chap who came up on the train and I dropped him off at Ely station complete with tv and he carried it onto the train !

Cracking sets Andrew :) If only we all had saved our old sets, we wouldn't be looking for them now ! I'm 43 and I still shed a tear for all the old stuff I gave away or scrapped in my youth. Long gone and rather rare ! I still see the odd set turn up, but it's never the one I'm really looking for.

Marcus.

Hi Marcus, It's the little Ferguson I regret the most ... I was a fool to sell it really, but it's no good keep looking back :)

Hi Andrew,

I have noticed one or two of the little Fergys turning up on eBay now and again over the last year or so, fingers crossed you should bag another one in the not too distant future. :qq1

Marc.
