I know this is a long shot, but does anybody have a CRM123 CRT needing a new home? Or any other suitable substitute suggestions?

TIA

Not sure what a CRM123 looks like, but there's a nice old CRT presently for sale in Northamptonshire on a certain auction site that may be of interest to VRatters!

The CRM123 is physically identical to the older CRM121. The differences are the CRM123 is aluminised and is made to work on a >7KV EHT supply. Same heater ratings as the CRM121, 2volts@ 1.3Amp.   Alternative Mazda tubes: consider the CRM122, but you'll need a separate filament transformer for the 7.3volt o.3amp heater.   CRM124 is a 9KV tetrode, 12.6 0.3amp heater, has a B12A base.

The Mullard MW31-16 and MW31-74 are tetrodes. 6.3volt 0.3amp heaters. >7KV.  Like the 12" Mazda tubes have the 35mm neck.

Hi both,

Thanks for the replies.

This tube is required for an Ekco TC185 that is in very good and clean condition, but sadly has no back and a necked CRT that I guess has happened due to the lack of its back.

I think I have a couple of 12 inch round CRT's but I have no idea what they are!
