Hi Everyone I was wondering if anyone has a itt cvc2 tuner they could sell me, the vc200 mono chassis uses the same. Mine is very low gain. All costs will be met. Regards. Gary.

If it uses BF180/BF181 they should be easy enough to replace, Malc.

Just had a look at the circuit, if you don’t want to change the RF amp have you checked the earthing springs on the tuning capacitor are clean. The grease goes hard and stops the earthing springs working.

Perhaps easier to check than changing the BF180, but has Malc says BF180’s are not that hard to change, just keep all leads dressed the same as the original.
