I have been given an RGD 628 DC radio in very reasonable condition - no woodworm or damp damage. It was designed for DC mains but has been fitted with a small rectifier assembly for operation on AC (not tried). This uses a selenium rectifier and could be custom or could be supplied by an RGD dealer - no idea.
£15 ono to the Dulwich museum secures this what must be fairly rare set. 4 wavebands with tuned RF stage and variable IF response and is complete with all its valves.
A good looking, Art Deco set which would grace any 1930s collection.
Hi Brian, I would be interested if still available
many thanks

It's yours Luke. There seem to be no other takers. Whereabouts do you live? The size precludes postage etc. so collection would be the best. As you know, I have retired an am more-or-less confined to barracks so a pick-up at any time is OK.
Hi Brian,
I am near Bath so a quick jaunt up the M4 is called for. Have sent a PM regarding collection
Many Thanks
Luke
Hi Luke
The Radio is still available. Do you want to arrange another collection date?
Hi Brian,
if the set is still available I am traveling back from the Dunstable Downs Rally with a van and could collect tomorrow
afternoon if convenient
Many Thanks
Luke
Hi Luke
I'm still waiting! Please come and pick it up or I will have to dump it.
The RGD has now been rehomed so this thread will be closed.
