Highly unlikely! But there’s a TV in Stevenage I’d like to try and move closer to me….
not sure if anyone can help?
cheers
Jamie
@jskinner97 I drive past Stevenage when I'm working, Jamie. Next time will be the 22nd, if that's any help - then I can get it closer to you. PM me with details?
If it's the same TV im thinking of, I'm glad you're taking it! I've been humming and herring about it since seeing it, wanting to save it but knowing I have no space!
Glad it'll be going to a good home rather than being gutted for something or other
If it helps anybody, I can offer to store it here in Chatteris for a while until future collection?
I just hope whatever it is will fit in the car...!
I mean, the Panzer's load capacity is legendary but it has its limits...
Believe i've sorted it out now thanks to Cathovisor
Cheers everyone.
You haz TV 🙂
Picked up this evening, nice chap.
Here's some pictures of the TV, Jamie - hope you don't mind me sharing. It's very clean (even more so now I've had a quick go at it!). Only two minor marks, and one knob is missing its black centre. The mains lead even has the wiring and fusing instructions upon it. Once you've cleaned the knobs, it's good enough to sit in your front room: the tuner operates smoothly with a nice, positive 'clunk'.
Well well, what a lovely set. cheers for collecting, I've PMd you and will collect it from you in coming weeks!
It'll be added to the pile and eventually get restored.
Please close the thread now, goes to show FCS can be great.
Closed as requested.
