In the Pye FV1 topic I mentioned the possible use of a sync separator which employed a 6F33 valve in a Miller integrator circuit.

In the 1970s I seem to remember Decca employed a Miller circuit in the remote control system to control the sound level. Can't remember the devices used to perform the function, transistors or an op-amp. Most likely it was an ultra sonic remote control. When the "volume up" button was depressed the signal became a DC level at the receiving end. Depending how long the volume button was depressed determined the ramp up time in the Miller integrator thus setting the an DC level for the sound volume. There must have been a "volume down" button on the remote control handset.  Channel changes by a stepper button?  Models to have used this remote control system were most likely late production 30 series models and the all-new for 1976 100 series, the first sets in the UK to employ the 20AX CRT.
