Coming up on the bench soon a rarely seen Rediffusion MK1, Hybrid early colour television, so watch this space.

The set roughly dates from 1973 but until I receive it the exact date remains unknown. I've been informed by ex Rediffusion staff that the production run was 73-76. I'm keen to have one of these in the collection for a couple of reasons. The first being I don't have any examples of this manufacturer and second this set would have been made just 3 miles from where I live.

For interest here's a Rediffusion engineers service card for fault diagnosisred_servcard.PNG.

Hi Chris

I'm not sure if I mentioned on Saturday but the spare chassis you took did work for about 30 seconds before the cutout popped out.

Nice to see a picture on it

Best regards

Mike

Hi Mike,

Not even touched the wired chassis yet, I'm going to try and get a Telebox with the intention of being able to run either example as It will be nice to have both examples running in the collection.
