Ferguson warranty claim form for anyone who may be interested.

@michael-dranfield What year would these be in use? I don’t remember being able to claim back labour  costs for in guarantee repair from the companies we dealt with only parts, those usually on advance replacement for larger items.

This was in the 1960’s/70’s.

Bottom right of form has 1287. I wonder if that is 1987?

@crustytv I did see that and wondered about 1987 then thought it may be the form number.

Philips and Samsung both paid us for under guarantee repairs including sets used for rental for the first year. I can't remember if Ferguson did as I didn't deal with the paperwork myself. Toshiba may have done but I can't remember any failing under guarantee. We offered a discount on rental Toshiba sets and a lower price on an extended guarantee if the customer wanted it because apart from 'finger trouble' there were no faults.

I don't think these are 1987 as it was later than that when I sold a Few Ferguson TV sets.

I think it was around 1990/1 when Ferguson began using that style logo.
