Granada TV's; How to Decode the Model Number

An interesting discussion (thanks to Phil, John, Richard & Baz for using and commenting in the blog) developed on one of the blog articles. This was initially in response to the articles subject, decoding the Thorn numbering system.

In the comment section of the blog post, it moved into discussing Granada TV rental model numbering. This resulted in me adding the Granada decode information into the blog's knowledge base, hopefully it will be of use as well as interesting.

I thought it worth highlighting both, on the forum.
