As anyone experience with the on off switch used in the ITT Cvc20, I have just repaired one of these but the switch was stuck in the on position, after much time searching through loads of draws I found 3 brand new Cvc20 switches but two are stuck and the one that does function sometimes won't latch, sometime it gets stuck on, I tried some servisol and it's still un reliable, I know back in the 80s these switches were bad for internal arcing but these are brand new, due to the unusual layout and button arrangement it's not possible to fit any other switch.

I would try dismantling one of the switches and see why it is stuck. Are the contacts stuck together or is the the slide / latch part that is seized. It may be possible to free it off?

Good luck! 😎

That's a common (in Oz) ITT Schadow TV-rated power switch.

They were 2nd-sourced by ALPS in Japan. (the Alps switches were better!)
