Pin cushion correction BRC 2000 and 3000.

Thanks to a member of another vintage radio forum I now have the information to add pin cushion correction to the BRC 2000. Now this begs the question, why not add the same circuit feature to the BRC 3000? A separate PCB will have to be fitted, perhaps piggy back on the existing convergence panel.
The CRT installed in the 2000 series is fitted with the blue gun uppermost, this means that the picture is sensibly straight at the bottom of the picture so that's OK for the news channel ticker but what's it like on the 3000? Any curvature at the bottom of the picture?

This will be interesting to see the end result.
I remember reading about the mod in Television magazine all those years ago but I can't remember seeing a photo of a set with the mod done .
I'll be following this thread will great interest.
