Couldn't resist this little 16" Pye (Philips CTX-E). A new thermistor, a fuse and a quick going over with a warm iron soon had it up and running. I've ordered a couple of 1/3AA NiMH cells from eBay to cure the amnesia!

Nice set! When I was at school in the late 90’s a few friends had these sets in their rooms, used to see them at the tip as well, but never picked one up, kind of wish I had now!

 Regards

I bought one of these for my daughter’s bedroom late 70’s early 80’s I think, brilliant little set. It was when I had my Radio & TV Repair shop in Hove, East Sussex. I bought it from one of my suppliers RT Supplies, New England House, Brighton, East Sussex.
