Adding to the shop memorabilia, I've been looking for something like this for absolutely ages. Just managed to acquire this for my workshop, cost me a small fortune but seeing as Thorn and Ferguson feature heavily in my collection, I just had to have it. It's in mint condition and working.

You've reminded me that before long I should really get my Bush neon sign rebuilt, proof that no good deed goes unpunished.

From that description I guess we're talking 40s/50s?

I think it could actually be earlier - pre-war. Which made its destruction all the worse...

I have a number of Bush "dealer aids" but my favourite is the huge illuminated sign designed to hang outside a shop - which, from the font and styling is early 1930s. An illuminated pelmet for a shop window is rather lovely too.

It looks good Chris! I hope you have a higher ceiling than I have!

I like the sound of the Bush sign, there was an Ekco double sided glass sign on eBay a while back which I quite fancied, I don’t think it was a light up one, wasn’t cheap either!

 Regards

Lloyd
