Hi, RR here. I once had a Panasonic that ate lopt's. And when I did get a picture there was no colour because of a knackered chroma filter. then it ate the lopt again... The chassis was a U5. And as for Samsung I've found their stuff to be super reliable. I've got an old LCD monitor, the one I'm using now, it was old when I got it s/h and I've had it a few years and nothing in it's been touched. And I've had several Samsung mobile phones, the one I've got now I've had three years, far longer than all the others, and it's a waterproof model and it's been in the sea and in a swollen river for about half an hour and I've got mad with it and thrown it around and it still works. Full marks to Samsung. And by the way I think a lot of the new flat-panel sets look like convection heaters or electric radiators! RR.
