Wondering if anyone out there in Vratland, can identify the manufacturer and or model these PCB's are from.

My guess is ITT and deducing from the major components, left to right functions as follows :-

Column 1, Part of Power supply

Column 2, Horizontal sync and oscillator

Column 3/4  unknown, no idea what these are

Column 5/6 (top), Field output

Column 6 (bottom), Audio output

Of course some out there may know more

Didn’t work on any ITT sets with plug in panels that I can remember, unless the 110degree CRT chassis used them and I only saw a couple of those. That was an imported set, the plugs on the PCB’s looks like those used on sets from Germany.

The reason I guessed at ITT is they look very much like the pin plug-in modules used on the CVC30 CVC40. Trying to organise spares dept, rather than have things all dumped in unlabelled boxes.

I have forgotten so much, I don’t remember the CVC30 having plug in modules, I must not have had faults on them.

Hey oh, only excuse it’s nearly 40 years ago.

OK little response to the first lot, maybe this next batch might be easier.

Here we have a bunch of decoders, well the left hand pile are combined RGB video/decoder boards. The ones on the right are decoder only, they are screen printed in German, so might these be Telefunken or perhaps another German make.

And then these, mostly I can work out the module function when there's recognisable IC's, like the left hand side are Teletext decoders. Interested in knowing manufacturers and or models. I think these are late 70's early 80's.

Anything with CMA, CMD, CMP etc. and with SEL (Standard Elektrik Lorenz) stickers are definitely of ITT manufacture but from what chassis I don't know.

The picture with the teletext boards has a number of Philips modules shown, looks like possibly KT3 ,K30 era. Easily identified as Philips due to silkscreen printing of the copper track layout on the component side of the board.

Cheers John, had a feeling there were ITT boards among that lot  ?

Hmm I wonder if I can upgrade my K30 to teletext  ?

The only Philips board that might be a Teletext decoder is the one in the middle with the 40 pin IC. It would be a big undertaking to convert as you would also need the remote control PCBs and IR receiver. I've done it with a very basic TX10 way back but spares were plentiful then.

If I had half a brain I'd be dangerous ....... Dug out my ITT service data for the CVC20-30 and it reveals all the boards and module numbers.

Hey ho.... this is why I'm on a mission to tidy and catalogue, because I've accumulated so many bits n pieces, I forget what I have got and what data I have to assist me in its identification.

itt

Now with these spares I just need to get the one ITT set I want in my collection, the one that has the remote control stuck in the front of the TV

Was that an ultra sonic remote, PP3 battery?

It just shows how reliable the ITT sets were at that time compared to the RBM and Pye sets,  I remember very little  about faults on them. We started to sell the ITT due to Hitachi and Toshiba only doing small screens at that time and we were not happy with RBM and Pye build quality.

The build quality of ITT was very good indeed the old CVC5 to CVC9 were very good

We sold plenty of CVC32  with the removable remote control these were very reliable indeed

Then ITT made that digital chassis same as the Salora not so good
