[Closed] A day Trip to the BVWS Event at Golborne

Hi all,Today was our first trip to the Golborne swapmeet (in fact it's first swapmeet we've ever been to anywhere) and I have to say it was a very pleasant trip. For those who are not familiar with this meeting it's only a small event with a dozen or so tables/traders and is held in the Parkside sports and community club in Golborne. Tea coffee and snacks are available too so no tummy rumbling problems to worry about ? There was a small display of working vintage tellys to look at including Pye LV30, Ferguson 941T, Baird T163 (I think) and a Vidor CN4216....I would have liked any of those in my own collection !I bumped into a few fellow telly collectors and had a good natter as you do and of course a bit of shopping with an unexpected reward of a GEC BT4543 from Mike (Mikeymushradio) A very nice Bryan 1500 FM radio, and Glenys acquired a Marconi T84 Radio and bought an HMV clock radio from the BVWS stall.A really enjoyable day, we shall be going back in November. ?
