[Closed] A new vintage radio auction near Chorley, 3rd June 2018

Organised by Rob Rusbridge and to be held in Adlington, near Chorley. Easily accessed by rail (about 150 yards from Adlington station, code ADL) and road (A6/M61 very close).
Thread on UKVRRR here: https://vintage-radio.net/forum/showthread.php?p=1036732#post1036732
...and catalogue will appear here.

Yes I informed one of my friends about it the other day. I will be on my travels again so will be away, I would have gone but for that, it’s only about 6 miles away, Golborne was the other weekend, I was away for that as well. Hey Ho.
The weekend is the same as an auto jumble at Tatton Park, don’t know if that will affect attendance.
Frank

I seem to remember, didn't Rob run The WirelessWorks down in Cornwall? I remember when I first got into valve radios buying a 1934 Ultra 66 console, 1946 Vidor Chanson and 1939 PYE MP from him via his website. It would have been around 1998/99. This new SteamRadios website uses the exact same colours of the old one.

I'm going to try and make sure I keep the 3rd of June free and have a ride over Frank, just a shame you can't make it although maybe there could be more events in the future fingers crossed.

I would have liked that - but it's way beyond my 30 mile physical comfort zone..... ? ?
