It's very helpful indeed though - I know someone who's a regular visitor to the McMichael Rally. I wonder if anyone else has compiled lists for elsewhere, e.g. Dunstable Downs?

(For the record, the Dunstable Downs event is on the 30th of June this year as the Radio 1 Big Weekend is being held on the Stockwood Park site over the late Spring Bank Holiday)

I should have thought of this: the RSGB publishes a full list at https://rsgb.org/main/news/rallies/

There's one just down the road from me in June.

Hi Cathovisor,

unfortunately what used to happen was some Rallies published to different places or didn't, you used to find some rallies advertised just in practical Wireless others just in the RSGB. The sheet was produced as it was an effective way to list the rallies in the area as quite a few people didn't have subscriptions to Practical Wireless, RSGB or like searching the Internet.

I have started attending the Rallies again this year and will have tables at Newbury, Dunstable & Reading so your welcome to come have a chat

Many Thanks

Luke

Hi Cathovisor,

At this point I could say "Oh, like some BVWS events only get published on UKVRRR?" I noticed no mention of the Golborne meeting that happened last Sunday on here - yet it's actually in the RSGB listing...

A similar thing used to happen with rail tours, you had to look for them. Some time ago a gentleman by the name of Dr. David Randles (now sadly departed) used to publish a website which collated and listed every such tour in the UK, along with timings and details of past tours, along with amendments if they occurred. That has now been divided between two sites again.

I'll try and get to Dunstable and hopefully, we can have a chat then. Be good to put a face to the name.
