Any Winter Projects Planned?
Still waiting for my little KB radio, if nothing by the start of the week I will contact the seller. I had it sent to a collection point but I have not had any notification other than it’s in the post, I should get an email when it’s available, I did call at the collection point, local shop but nothing there.
Now I did say I may live to regret this purchase, see what occurs next week.
Frank
Let's hope it arrives ok for you Frank....fingers and toes crossed. ?
To understand the black art of electronics is to understand witchcraft. Andrew.
I got bored for an hour, and decided to build something to frustrate the neighbours...

And why not Doz ?
I quite fancied a rather nice Philips G6 for a Christmas project, but distance and price are the deciding factors against it. (There just happens to be one becoming available in Stourport-on- Severn.)

Not far from me ...
A G6 will certainly help keep you warm over the winter months Doz. ?
You might even get a free X-Ray at the same time! ?

Sadly, I think the roasting SWMBO would give me would keep me warm enough! Breaks the 20" rule too ... and it's not D/S
Lol, well I myself would love to acquire the set, but as I mentioned above, there are certain "difficulties" shall we say. ?

Evidently my radio is in a warehouse in Liverpool, it was being delivered to a collection point, a shop open early morning to late at night, the courier had difficulty delivering the parcel.
The seller is very responsive and probably as frustrated by this as I am. He will get back to me ASAP.
Its only £14 so I will still be able to have jam on my bread at tea time. ?
Frank
Unfortunately the seller cannot sort out the delivery, he has given me a refund and seeking compensation from the carrier.
I have to say he as been in regular contact and handled the problem extrembly well.

The Baird T5 posts have been split off as they deserve to be in their own dedicated thread, in the B&W TV section of the forum.
