BBC Radio Norfolk
Hi, Had one of my friends.. Stephen Bumfrey in a few weeks ago to record a piece with my collection. Sadly I forgot to give a plug to VRAT!
You may be able to visualize my house..

Makes me realise how much of a Norfik' accent I really have!
Ooh fame! Do you do autographs? Well done Jamie, you came across very well.
There's no problem in having an accent.
Keith
That was a nice little piece there Jamie and you certainly came across as very knowledgeable. I felt for just a second there you were going to give him a spiel about batteries but he diverted your attention to a colour set. You probably need to watch some of these politicians more and learn how they only answer questions with their own answers irrespective of what they are being asked.
Nice one.
Eddie
Well, I didn't have a problem with your accent - in fact, at the beginning I was finding hard to detect any accent ...
My wife is pretty good on accents and she thought it tended towards Estuary English (Yeuk!) and assumed that you were a relative newcomer to Norfolk!
Anyway, excellent!
The timing in your post was based on the programme timing but your link was to listen again, so the news bulletin at the beginning shunted you up a few minutes ...
I looked to see if it could be downloaded as a Podcast but, alas, no ...
When all else fails, read the instructions
very well done i dont think i could of done that at your age

But don't forget, members such as you and everyone else on this forum have taught me what I know!
Brilliant interview Jamie. I could almost imagine being there......
Very well done.
Just had a listen. Very impressed - well done Jamie! The interviewer seemed to be interested in the subject himself. He clearly remembered the big old radios with glowing dials and the Test Card F which you showed him on the television.
Yes, Stephen Bumfrey.. Known him for years.. worked on pirate radio and all sorts.
I gave him the 70s TV I was playing Test Card F on in the interview.. As he said he was looking for one! Happy to say he uses it every so often!

I listened to your interview on germanium transistor amplified speakers tonight and you did well with all the questions the interviewer asked
Well done.

Well done.
Where did you find that?
I tried Jamie's website but it doesn't seem to exist any more ...

No, I didn't have the funds to keep it alive. But I do have something new in the pipeline.. So not to worry!
The saved copy it on the fifth message from the start of the thread.
Oh Sorry, Here. http://uploadir.com/u/88p4y380 I thought you were on about Gorleston Vintage Wireless.
