I think it's just amazing!

While his skills are remarkable and admirable, it shows how primitive valves of that time were. Consider how far they came to deploy the μm tolerances that enable frame-grid RF valves' performance.

Is there any more to the video where he actually tests the valve? Amazing work along the lines of the Frenchman who also makes valves.

I can't see a video of testing the Cossor but he does test a Marconi-Round Type C triode in this video.
