I'm currently at a holiday park surrounded by mountains in Thale, Northern Germany and each building has a digital TV antenna feed as well as a WiFi router fed from a central point high in the mountains.
The antenna has a 4G mobile phone service as well as a few other things.
Yesterday evening they shut off everything apart from the basic mobile phone service as there was a major risk of it being struck by lightning! Apart from that it's a really good system, no fibre broadband but you really don't need it here.
