Suflex capacitors.

A few (months?) ago I mentioned my digs I stay at when working away are in Pontymister. Located near Risca in South Wales, it was once the home of Suflex capacitors. My landlady used to be an accountant for Suflex there throughout the late 60's and well into the 80's.
Suflex was started by a German gentleman who escaped the Nazi's during the war. Apparently he was a wonderful person to work for.
Suflex also used to manufacture capacitors for STC.
The factory is now long gone. Plans have been made for a housing estate to be built there, but there's been now sign of action for many years. The land is private, but apparently many people walk dogs there etc. I didn't venture that far.
If you dig down a few feet, there's allegedly a LOT of capacitors still there !
Here's a few photos.

Quite sad to see that, Doz.
