I have parts of a fidelity R2 in my big old box and it has a complete ferrite Aerial attached, I would like to fit it to my  Vidor cn423, but on the connections their are many not the just four, I wonder if anyone may have a circuit of Fidelity R2, my radio tv circuit books stop at 1959.

Can you confirm the model number, I can’t find any details of an R2, Fidelity radios appear to have RAD xx numbers or a name. Perhaps a photo of the cabinet may help.

RAD 12 makers service manual available free from

https://www.radiomuseum.org/r/fidelity_rad12rad_1.html

or a paid download from

https://www.service-data.com/search.php?xSearch=rad12&search=Search

I cannot see it in the forums Data library.

Is the manual enough to get the ferrite rod working in the Vidor?

I think the Vidor is a valve set, you will probably have to sort out a better match to the input of the mixer/osc stage with the ferrite rod being made for a transistor set.

I've scanned and uploaded the full service data to the library, but here's a condensed Rad12 data card
