Important part of my car detailing kit;)

I try to at least keep the outside of the car looking presentable and do so every 4-6 weeks, which often conveniently coincides with Radio Caroline's live broadcasts from the Ross Revenge - so the Bush TR230 always travels with me (I have to drive up to my aunts house in Mid Suffolk as I don't have a driveway at home, and this whole job takes me a good 2 hours plus, especially cleaning the 10 spoke alloy wheels)
I am really impressed with how good this sounds for an MW/AM set that is as old as myself, how long the PP9 lasts (I listen quite loud as the car is parked a few metres away), and it is way less hassle than remembering to charge Bluetooth portable squawk boxes, mobile phones etc along with all the buckets, spray devices, microfibres and everything else that cleaning a modern car entails these days...
I do feel like I am turning into my Dad sometimes though ?

I used to clean the car every week, wax a few times year, now it’s at the £5 car wash when required but I do hand polish it before and after winter.
Radio is looking good, Bush TR130 I think that is what it is, they are good radios, one of the last UK made sets before quite a few UK manufacturers started to import Far East built ones for some of their range.

Washing... a... car?
No, you've lost me there.
Mine gets washed if/when it visits the dealership! And if you think ten-spoke alloys are fiddly to clean, try the BBS cross-spoke alloys that were fitted to BMWs and some Vauxhalls in the 1980s/90s... ?

He says TR230 in the post, Frank. First Bush radio based around the TAD100 IC.

Early morning or getting old, pick either excuse.
Probably the second is more correct, thanks for the correction. ?
