I have had a weeks holiday on the Isle of Wight. I last visited in 2012. Previously to that it was a holiday destination in the '70's with my parents. The Island had changed over the years, the roads are busier, the place is a lot more commercial than it used to be but is still charming and the people are lovely.
We took a trip to the needles and had a look at the Marconi monument. There is now a Café " Marconi's" which has a few vintage radios on display. Only one a Marconi though... Some of the sets had been slimmed down to fit the display, But nothing rare or valuable had been harmed.
Other trips included the Bus and coach museum which was more interesting than I
expected. We gave the poo museum a miss though...
