This radio record player has been working well for a while but has now blown both O/P transistors on one channel. Has anyone got a circuit for this and can anyone point me in the direction of a pair of 'Sony D291' o/p transistors? I have looked on the net but nothing about them. Can anyone supply information about suitable equivalents; I assume there will be others to fit this circuit. Not my strong point these semiconductors- no heaters in them.
All advice welcome.
Jonathan.

TO66 might be a pain, though probably plenty of TO220s that would do electrically. BD901 perhaps?

With transistors from the from east they tend to drop the "2S" from the start of the part number.
I got the data quickly once I had allowed for this.
