Looking for an ITT CVC2 focus VDR.
I think its much the same as the Pye 691/697 type, the long one, EHT at one end and focus tapped off via slider near the bottom.

Hi Neil, Its a greyish black rod, bit like a carbon a little less than a foot long and about 3/8" diameter, with silvered ends.
Original is still in set at the moment.

It’s in quite a long plastic enclosure with the adjustment sticking out the rear end, I think adjustable outside the cabinet but I could wrong in that.
They failed in service, kept spares on the van.
