Do bears defecate in the woods?  Is the Pope Catholic?🤣  😎 Service data scanned and is now in the library for you👍.

Perhaps you might share the repair thread with us as you bring the Ferranti back to life? We could do with some of the radio boys posting, in fact we could do with anybody posting a repair these days other than David and I.

Cheers Chris, all sorted now. Nothing of much interest with this repair i am sorry to say. This tip find radio was fully restored by me about 10 years ago. Used on a daily basis as my w/shop radio without any problems until today when the dial cord broke. Now re-stringed and blasting away as i type this, Malc.

Drive cords were never my favourite pastime, always fixed them but some could be “difficult”, nicest way to say it.
