Does anyone have an alternative schematic for this set, as the snippet shown on WayneD's previous thread doesn't seem to bare any resemblance to the set I'm stuck on?

TIA

Hi Andy,

I don't have any other 261G circuits, but how about the 1978 National 262G?

The reason I wonder if this might be of use is TR451 uses the same switching transistor 3SF11 and also states the BRY39 can be used. If it looks similar in any way to the TV in front of you, I can scan the whole data for you.

Now that does look familiar. That should be enough. Thanks as always Chris.

Hi Chris, This is exactly the right schematic. If You could scan the rest for me, I would be very grateful.

Hi Andy,

now how damn spooky is that, I'd just settled down to watch "the latest exciting episode.." from you know who, and my phone bleeps stating there's a forum reply.

No problem, I'll knock it out this afternoon for you and update this thread when it's uploaded.

Glad to be able to help. 👍

There is an error on that circuit! Bottom left corner showing the pulse amplifier TR505 and the phase splitter TR501. TR505 is shown as an NPN BC547 which is correct. TR501 is shown as a PNP but also listed as a BC547 which is wrong. Probably should be a BC557. Just in case it causes any confusion. They also show 2SC numbers as equivalent which could be correct.
