Hi gang,

pretty much as per the title; I dug out one of the aforementioned clock radios in the store today - it had been in my loft for over 25 years and I thought it was about time I fixed it. I was given it to repair by a former school teacher (now deceased) but I never got around to it.

It powers up, lights up the tuning dial when you switch to radio... but that's it. No noise from the loudspeaker - it's suspiciously silent in fact, not even hum.

I understand it's in RATS on. p.630 of an volume from 1980?
