Hi, Do you have a circuit diagram for a Thorn 78L "Unit Audio" Record player / tuner. It is from about 1978 with a Ferguson badge model 3496 and I think the same board is used in various HMV and Ultra "Unit Audio" versions and Radiograms.

Indeed, as I have an ex thorn dealer's stock of data going right up to boom-boxes, I do have the Ferguson 3496 service manual. This includes, cct description, RF (am/FM)/IF alignment, circuit diagram, plan view board illustrations and disassembly instructions. I'll get it scanned and let you know in this thread when it resides in the temp library.

p.s.

The manual is dated July 77 so you were pretty darn close on the year, coupled with providing the model, made finding it relatively easy, thanks. 👍

Brilliant, Thanks for doing this. I remembered the year as it was my Christmas present in 1978. I'll update on my progress, I've sorted the BSR autochanger this evening.
