Hi everyone

I have recently obtained a 22" Tyne colour television, I was wondering if anyone could help me with service information on this set . It is the first time that I have seen one of these sets.

Hi Gary, you're lucky as well as TV's, I collect service data as rare as rocking horse "Do-Doos".... in other words, I have the Tyne service manual. I'll get it scanned and uploaded to our Data Library. I'll update the post here when it's available.

Really looking forward to seeing one of these on the bench. I can remember them on sale mainly in furniture shops alongside Rigonda audio and mono TVs.

Derek Tyne contacted me with the view to supplying my business with his TV sets. Didn't buy any, at the time already I had too many dealerships. Wasn't because I didn't like his sets. Guess you could say it was a brave effort for Mr. Tyne to manufacture TV sets but the marketplace was already awash with too many TV sets.

As mentioned over in our Facebook group when this TV first surfaced, it's really odd that Mr Tyne decided to use a TBA800 Audio amp IC for the Field output.
