Well I finally bit the bullet and purchased a hedgehog L standards converter , it arrived to day and it works perfectly as I would expect

I decided on the L as it has a nice lcd display and it also does 819 line , not sure I will ever use that but you never know

it’s a very nice compact unit so I’m considering buying another so I can run 2 different Chanels

I still have my Aurora (2 of ) these have served me well since they came out but I thought it was time to upgrade

I also have a pineapple v3 that hadn’t been used for over 20 years but that will be going up for sale shortly

all in all I’m very pleased with the hedghog , I understand from Steve that’s selling these that the Hedghog 1 is sold out as beamish purchased the last 6 😮 so it might be worth a visit there in the summer to see what sort of display they are putting on , I wouldn’t  of thought they would run 405 line sets for long but you never know .

That's rather a coincidence. A relative of mine contacted me recently and asked me about the possibility of restoring an HMV1816 for a heritage school near me and I like yourself am not too far from Beamish. I advised a standards converter would be required. Do they know something we don't? 🤣 I did contact @Freya earlier this month for a quote and he recommended the HH1 so the order must be very recent.

John.
