I managed to get a couple of quite rarely seen brochures. The first is a 1980 Radio Rentals, some really nice sets in there. In particular, it shows a TV I'm on the hunt for, and have the remote, the Thorn series 9904. The Radio Rental's brochure has that listed as the 8801 (ultrasonic) & 8802 (infrared).

The other brochure is super rare, a Rediffusion one from 1983. It covers many of the TVRM (I believe these are MKIV)range and lots of VCRs and their VideoView service. Likewise, although not shown, I'm on the lookout for a MKIII

A sneak, peak

20220803 120010
20220803 120032

All will be scanned in due course for the brochure section of the main website, before joining the rest of my slowly growing collection, for the museum area.

My Gran used to have one of those Thorn 9000 console sets, probably Ferguson badged, I remember having a remote control was still a novelty in the early 1980s.

I would have put the comments on the page with the scans but there isn't a box to do it there!

I hope the DER rates card gets scanned soon, it's interesting to see what prices were for renting sets.
