A bit of nostalgia for you, I might be wrong, but I think this is a video of the Thorn 800 series production line. Further below, photos I have of what I also believe to be the 800 series on the prodcution line.

Happy to stand corrected, as the early stuff is not my bag.

I wonder what modern elf n safety officers would make of the crt being handled and fitted without any eye protection?  I'm sure they didn't have any disasters but someone only had to accidentally clout a screen to another and boom!...
